Machine Learning Research Scientist /  Senior Researcher  [ref: 1801-269-SML]

NEC Laboratories Europe's machine learning group is looking for research scientists to develop and implement machine learning algorithms with real-world impact. We are an international team of researchers who are excited about data and its potential to power new applications and products. We have a track record of producing top research (published at ICML, NIPS, KDD, SIGCOMM, WWW, UAI, etc.) and of innovative data-driven products in and outside of NEC.

The current focus of the group is on large-scale machine learning with an emphasis on neural network based learning for structured data (sequences, graphs, knowledge bases). If you are excited about machine learning and ways to bring ML technologies to impact products and services, you should apply.

We work closely with NEC’s business units on internal R&D projects and participate in numerous European R&D projects both with industrial and academic partners. You will write papers and patents to document your accomplishments and present your work at international conferences. English is the working language in the lab.
