To to keep pace with growth, we are recruiting a Senior Controller acting in the role of a Finance Business Partner.
The position is unlimited  with  39 h / week.

These are your responsibilities

The Finance Business Partner will provide targeted strategic insights across the relevant business units by basing these insights on operational performance, trends and risk. The main activities in this role will include:

  • Improve the impact and understanding of financial reporting on business performance

  • Provide analysis and delivering insights that link financial reports to business strategies

  • Support on all financial matters that are key to achievement of strategic and operational objectives for the business

  • Support an efficient and effective forecasting process and pays close attention to major spend categories

  • Identification of and mitigating potential risks per CBM’s risk register as monitored on a regular basis

  • Responsibility for the delivery of inputs, insights and analysis to key planning processes for the business

  • Preparation of additional ad hoc analyses and recommendations

  • Support of business in the development of budgets and forecasts on project proposals

  • Act as a catalyst and sparring partner in driving forward initiatives critical to delivering business strategies

  • Timely preparation, analysis and interpretation of management information, business plans and forecasts related to specific divisions and organization, and to recommend actions based on the analyses

  • Develop appropriate metrics to monitor performance against set key objectives

These are your qualifications

  • Relevant university degree is desirable

  • Profound working experience in a similar function, preferably with an international development organization

  • High competence to pro-actively manage expectations of senior management

  • Ability to identify and address areas of improvements (efficiency, growth and risk)

  • Deep understanding of value flows of business (responsibilities and processes)

  • Professional proficiency in English and German

  • Experience in Microsoft Office Packages (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access, incl. Teams) as well as SharePoint Solutions and ERP systems
