For our Business Unit Industrial & Commercial Transportation (ICT) of TE Connectivity either in our location Bensheim or in Heimstetten (near Munich), we are looking for a 


Senior Supplier Quality Engineer (f/m/d)  EMEA


Responsibilities & Qualifications


Responsabilities:

  • One face to the supplier for technical issues supporting TE Connectivity Industrial Commercial business
  • Perform product assurance activities associated with a manufacturing environment to ensure that the dimensional, materials and visual characteristics of a product's design, as documented on drawings, specifications and quality standards are consistently produced
  • Lead APQP activities as well as review and approve supplier Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions for new items and changes to existing product components
  • Monitor quality data within the operating systems to ensure accuracy of data and develop reporting systems to accurately document and record monthly and annual supplier trends and performance data
  • Perform periodic reviews and continually monitor quality specifications to ensure supplier compliance
  • Facilitate deployment of supplier required metrics across supply base
  • Supports in supplier quality issues and drives corrective actions with the suppliers
  • Facilitate supplier quality roadmaps leading to improved supplier performance metrics
  • Perform process and system audit of suppliers and maintain a working knowledge of IATF quality systems requirements to support the suppliers
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Skill set in tight tolerance complex molded components

Voraussetzungen

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering or other engineering discipline
  • Plus 3+ years’ experience in supplier quality: supplier development, supplier audit, etc.
  • Working knowledge of the automotive industry; ISO / TS or IATF Standards
  • Experience with German and international suppliers and use of 5-Why and 8-D problem solving tools
  • Frequent travel will be required (50%- 75%); international travel also likely
  • Fluent German and English language skills
